Galliford Try Group is seeking a proactive Management Accountant to join the Environment Division Finance team in Coventry. You will support two business units, deliver accurate monthly management accounts, and provide insightful financial analysis to operations and project teams in a fast-paced environment.

You will partner with Finance Managers, supervise junior staff where required, and contribute to process improvements and financial controls across the business, while benefiting from Agile

Qualifikationen

• Qualified accountant or equivalent experience in a finance role.
• Strong working knowledge of management accounting principles.
• Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations and forecasting processes.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
• Support weekly cash flow forecasts and monitor cash receipts.
• Analyse financial performance and investigate variances against budgets and forecasts.
• Attend monthly review meetings and support performance reporting.
• Prepare cost journals, accruals and GL adjustments.
• Review payroll allocations and cost-to-employ calculations.
• Monitor and report on cost recovery across projects and units.
• Maintain project information and financial data in company systems.
• Review VAT returns and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
