You will prepare management information, lead month-end activities and partner with colleagues across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Collaborative with clear stakeholder management.
• Experience in housing/real estate/asset management or COINS ERP knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities and prepare journals, accruals, prepayments and other adjustments.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations with analysis.
• Analyze financial performance and highlight variances, risks and opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and broader planning activities.
• Maintain robust financial controls and governance procedures.
• Assist with statutory accounts, tax, VAT, regulatory and lender reporting.
• Partner with operations and development teams to provide financial guidance.
• Support internal and external audits and document financial processes and controls.
