Attribution Search is partnering with a high profile Alternative Asset manager for a brand new Finance build as part of the group's plans for growth across the EMEA region.

This will be the first Management Accountant hire for EMEA, reporting directly to its CFO. The position will blend all key fundamentals across financial reporting, analysis, month-end closing, and regulatory requirements.

Alongside BAU, the role will blend a large project element to build out the finance division, implementing policies, procedures, and all-round good governance.

The business has a successful history, founded as a subsidiary of a major investment bank, now a multibillion organization, with YOY growth since inception both in headcount, geographical coverage, and AUM.

Historically, everything finance was managed by the US office. The EMEA division will now cover all management accounting for all entities outside of the US, inclusive of APAC entities.

The level will suit a newly qualified candidate or 2-3 years PQE with buy-side experience. Practice coverage must be inclusive of buy-side clients.

Duties

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial analysis, and MI reporting.
• Support the implementation of accurate financial reporting, processes, and procedures.
• Contribute to the maintenance and effective operation of robust internal financial controls.
• Identify financial risks and suggest opportunities for efficiencies and risk mitigation.
• Ensure seamless migration of management accounting duties from the US to the EMEA region.
• Produce board packs and participate in board meetings.
• Prepare and present annual financial statements for the management company and its subsidiaries.
• Produce all financial reports in conjunction with outsourced providers.
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity, including daily bank reconciliation, banking and cash management, and regulatory capital forecasting.
• Lead the budgeting process and prepare financial forecasts for the management company.
• Analyze financial performance against budget and provide variance analysis as well as recommendations to support decision-making.
• Oversee the annual group financial statement audit process and address any issues that arise.
• Maintain accurate and appropriate accounting records for the FCA regulated LLP and non-UK subsidiaries.
