Job summary

Old Mill is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our growing finance team. You will prepare monthly management accounts for the Group entity, support the Group Financial Controller, and contribute to cashflow reporting, treasury, and group reporting.

The role offers involvement in continuous improvement projects, strong financial controls, and collaboration across the finance function. Ideal candidates hold ACA/ACCA/CIMA, have proven month-end experience, and excel in

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or nearing completion.
• Experience preparing management accounts and month-end reporting.
• Strong balance sheet reconciliation experience and financial controls.
• Exposure to treasury, cashflow or banking activities is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for the Group entity.
• Support month-end reporting activities and journals.
• Post accruals, prepayments, payroll, expenses and depreciation.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Assist in group consolidations by gathering and reporting financial data.
• Prepare cashflow reporting and support treasury activities.
• Support statutory accounts, year-end audits and regulatory reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with FP&A and wider finance team on reporting and analysis.
• Support the Group Financial Controller with broader group reporting as required.
