Management Accountant


12 month FTC to cover maternity leave


Wythenshawe


£35,000 - £38,000


Excellent benefits including 2 wellbeing days per year, annual bonus, flexitime and private medical.


Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office, more will be required during the training period.



Are you a numbers enthusiast with a passion for strategic financial planning and analysis? We are seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join our client's dynamic finance team located in Wythenshawe.


What You'll Do:
As a key member of the Finance team, you will collaborate with the wider team to ensure precise and timely financial planning and reporting. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Adhering to financial processes related to controlling, budget control, and monthly reporting.

  • Focusing on top-line sales planning and reporting.

  • Providing accurate sales information and analysis to both Global and local management.

  • Utilising integrated SAP and other platforms to maintain the accuracy and timeliness of financial data.

  • Partnering with key UK staff to deliver high-quality financial information to Business Unit heads and Cost Centre managers.

  • Managing month-end book processes and ensuring timely reporting.

  • Conducting sales close and reporting, including rebate analysis.

  • Leading month-end review meetings and ensuring data integrity.

  • Preparing and distributing cost centre reports on time.

  • Assisting with Country P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow, and Capex planning.

  • Collaborating with various business units to drive efficient financial management.



Who You Are:

  • Relevant accountancy experience (part/fully qualified).

  • Previous experience in management accounts and budget management.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail.

  • A customer-focused mindset with cross-functional experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP is a plus!
