Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Management Accountant for a key role in a growing Dorset-based organisation. You will lead management accounts across multiple business units, driving accurate reporting and timely delivery.

The role involves refining financial processes, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management at group level, while mentoring a small finance team. It offers a competitive benefits package and career progression in a dynamic SME.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or an experienced QBE with relevant multi-entity management accounting experience.
• Proven track record in producing consolidated management reports within a multi-site organisation.
• Strong leadership skills and experience supervising finance staff.
• Demonstrable experience working within an SME or growing business environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Xero and Fathom.

Responsibilities

• Leading the preparation and delivery of management accounts across multiple business units, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Developing and refining financial reporting processes to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities at group level.
• Managing and mentoring a small finance team to foster a high-performance environment.
• Assisting with integration of new financial systems and process improvements to support ongoing growth.
