Job summary

Macildowie Recruitment and Retention is partnering with a rapidly growing multi-entity business in Daventry to recruit a Management Accountant into the expanding finance team. This is a full-time, office-based role reporting to the Financial Controller, offering exposure to a commercially driven environment and taking ownership of core accounting duties.

You'll prepare monthly management accounts, manage intercompany reconciliations, support budgeting and cash flow reporting, and provide

Qualifications

• Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or qualified accountants considered.
• Hands-on experience preparing management accounts with journals and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and lookup functions.
• Experience with Xero or similar accounting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals and reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end reporting for multiple entities.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and reporting accuracy.
• Produce analysis, variance reports and essential management information.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.
• Collaborate with the finance team on AP/AR accuracy.
• Support VAT, audit and statutory reporting requirements.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to systems projects.
• Provide guidance to junior colleagues as the team grows.
