Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Management Accountant for a key role in a growing Dorset-based business. You will lead multi-entity management accounts, drive financial reporting improvements and support group budgeting and cash flow planning.

The role requires strong Excel skills and experience with Xero and Fathom, plus leadership of a small finance team in a dynamic SME environment. A competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or experienced QBE with multi-entity management accounting.
• Proven track record producing consolidated management reports in a multi-site setup.
• Strong leadership and supervision of finance staff.
• Experience in an SME or growing business environment.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Xero and Fathom.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of management accounts across multiple business units.
• Develop and refine financial reporting processes to aid decision-making.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management at group level.
• Manage and mentor a small finance team to foster high performance.

Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or an experienced QBE with relevant multi-entity management accounting experience
• Proven track record in producing consolidated management reports within a multi-site organisation
• Strong leadership skills and experience supervising finance staff
• Demonstrable experience working within an SME or growing business environment
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Xero and Fathom
