Job summary

ICAEW in London is seeking a newly qualified Management Accountant to join our finance team, with hands-on COINS experience for project-based reporting.

You will produce monthly management accounts with commentary, support month-end journals and reconciliations, analyse project costs and profitability, and help with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning. You’ll work with operational teams and senior stakeholders to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Background in management accounting and COINS essential
• Construction/engineering/project-based sector experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Producing monthly management accounts with analysis and commentary.

• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances.

Your new role

As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Producing monthly management accounts with analysis and commentary.

• Providing financial insights to support business decision-making.
• Supporting continuous improvement of finance processes and controls.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), ideally with previous experience working within the construction, engineering or project-based sectors. You will have a background in management accounting and hands‑on experience with the system COINS, which is essential.
