Job summary

Cedar are looking for an experienced COINS ERP Consultant to optimise an existing COINS platform in a Central London hybrid setting. This is not a new implementation; you will be the hands-on SME driving practical improvements from assessment through to delivery.

You will review the current COINS environment, identify underutilised functionality and deliver enhancements across configuration, workflows and reporting while working with Finance, Commercial, Procurement and operations to capture

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on COINS ERP experience.
• Experience optimising or improving an existing COINS environment.
• Strong understanding of COINS configuration, workflows and reporting.
• Ability to independently identify and deliver system and process improvements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience providing training and knowledge transfer.

COINS ERP Optimisation Consultant

Location: Central London / Hybrid
Contract: Initial 3 to 6 months
Day Rate: £600 to £700 per day
IR35: Outside IR35

Cedar are supporting an established UK organisation looking to engage an experienced COINS ERP Consultant to improve how the business utilises its existing COINS platform.

COINS is already embedded within the organisation, but there is significant opportunity to improve its configuration, processes, reporting and overall adoption. This is not a new implementation; the consultant will act as a hands-on COINS SME, assessing the current environment and delivering practical improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review the existing COINS environment, configuration and current usage.
• Identify underutilised functionality, inefficient processes and manual workarounds.
• Deliver improvements across COINS configuration, workflows and reporting.
• Work with Finance, Commercial, Procurement and operational stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Identify opportunities for greater automation and improved data visibility.
• Establish COINS best practice and improve internal system capability.
• Provide user training, documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Develop a roadmap for further optimisation and support the eventual handover to an internal BAU systems resource.

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on COINS ERP experience.
• Previous experience optimising or improving an existing COINS environment.
• Strong understanding of COINS configuration, workflows and reporting.
• Ability to independently identify and deliver system and process improvements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience providing training and knowledge transfer.
• Experience within construction, engineering, property, infrastructure or another project-led environment would be advantageous.

This would suit an experienced COINS Functional Consultant, COINS Systems Consultant or COINS ERP Specialist who is comfortable taking ownership of an optimisation engagement from initial assessment through to delivery and handover.
