Job summary

Armstrong Knight in Greater London seeks a commercially oriented Finance Controller/Management Accountant to provide analysis and reporting to support the business strategy and planning.

You will oversee management accounting for the group and subsidiaries, produce statutory accounts, manage budgeting and forecasting, and supervise junior staff. ACCA or ACA qualification is required, with construction sector experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ACCA or ACA qualification required.
• Experience in commercial and management accounting desirable in construction sector.

Responsibilities

Working cohesively with the Financial Controller you will provide analysis and meaningful reporting to assist the key stakeholders in the business with the ongoing financial strategy and planing for the business.

• Management Accounting for the company and its associated subsidiaries
• Statutory Accounts production for review
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis with commentary
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Accounting for depreciation of fixed assets
• Trend analysis and reporting.
• Preparation and submission of Corporation Tax returns
• Supervision of junior team members.

As the successful candidate you will be commercially focussed, have an exceptional eye for detail and will be eitherACCA or ACA qualified.Experience of commercial and management accounting from within aconstruction related business is also highly desirable.
