Job summary

NHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board is seeking a Finance post to provide financial support across budgets, with on-site work and face-to-face one-to-ones. The role focuses on accurate management information, budget planning, forecasting, and investigating variances, ensuring right-to-work in the UK and no sponsorship.

You will work closely with budget holders, prepare for budget meetings and contribute to statutory financial targets, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
• CCAB part qualified or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of continued professional development (CPD).

Responsibilities

• Ensure financial information provided to others is accurate, timely and useful.
• Maintain, monitor and develop income and expenditure budgets through the ledger.
• Produce ad-hoc reports and analysis, and answer queries promptly and accurately.
• Raise ad-hoc invoice requests and ensure income is recorded accurately.
• Provide information for annual financial and other external returns.
• Maintain the budget plan and reconcile it to the ledger.
• Support budget meetings and lead face-to-face meetings with budget holders.
