Management Accountant (Assistant) | Full-time permanent | £35,000-£45,000 | Monday-Friday | Blackburn

Your new company

I am currently working exclusively with a large organisation based in East Lancashire, who are seeking a Management Accountant (Assistant) within the team. This is a newly created role within an expanding company. This would be an excellent opportunity for a Part-Qualified candidate looking to accelerate their career within Finance.

Your new role
  1. Full-time permanent role, Monday-Friday with flexibility of hours.
  2. Support with the preparation of monthly lead schedules and support with any statutory audit requirements.
  3. Contribute to the preparation and review of P&Ls to ensure the accuracy of managing reports.
  4. Deal with large volumes of data.
  5. Work collaboratively with the transactions team to ensure a smooth month-end.
  6. Assist in the accurate production of monthly and quarterly reports.
  7. Production and posting of journals including accruals and prepayments.
  8. Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared on a monthly basis.
  9. Assist with all ad hoc project work as required.
What you'll need to succeed
  1. Can-do attitude and the ability to work off your own initiative.
  2. Qualified or Part-Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA, or degree exemptions considered.
  3. Proficiency with Excel and working with large volumes of data.
  4. SAP experience is desirable but not essential.
  5. Experience within a large organisation and a desire to grow in finance is preferred.
