We are working with a fantastic client based in Leeds looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to be part of their growing finance team.

This role offers hybrid working and some fantastic benefits of working with the business!

Responsibilities as an Assistant Management Accountant:

• Responsible for accurate and timely monthly management accounts e.g. Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Perform month-end activities e.g. journal postings, accruals and prepayments.
• Support finance team ensuring day-to-day transactional tasks (invoicing, AP, AR) are completed accurately and on time.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements of the role:

• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or equivalent or qualified by experience.
• Excellent working knowledge of Xero.
• Extensive experience working at a similar level within a finance team.
