Job summary

Big Sky Additions Limited wishes to appoint a Management Accountant at its Wroxham site in Norfolk. The role offers full-time or part-time arrangements and hybrid working.

You will focus on monthly management accounts, gross profit reporting and cost analysis while collaborating with colleagues across the business. Ideal candidates will have management accounting experience, advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, Power Query) and be comfortable with ERP/financial systems.

Management Accountant

Wroxham, Norfolk Full-Time or Part-Time Flexible / Hybrid Working

We're recruiting a Management Accountant for a successful manufacturing business in Wroxham, offering a varied role with a strong focus on financial reporting, cost analysis and working closely with colleagues across the business.

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you'll play an important part in the monthly management accounts process, with particular responsibility for gross profit reporting, analysing costs and variances, and ensuring financial information is accurate and reliable.

The Role

• Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts

• Producing gross profit reporting and analysing job costs

• Managing WIP and revenue recognition adjustments

• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations

• Analysing material, labour and stock costs and investigating variances

• Maintaining accurate financial information within the ERP system

• Working with colleagues across the business to resolve queries and improve reporting

About You

You'll have previous management accounting experience, strong analytical skills and the confidence to investigate discrepancies and challenge financial information where necessary.

Advanced Excel skills are important, including Pivot Tables, Lookups and ideally Power Query. You'll also be comfortable working with financial systems and explaining financial information to non-finance colleagues.

Part or full CIMA/ACCA qualification would be advantageous, as would previous manufacturing and costing experience.

Flexible working is available, with full-time or part-time arrangements considered for the right person. Hybrid working may also be possible, with some flexibility around month-end requirements.
