Accountable Recruitment Limited on Wirral is helping a growing private equity-backed organisation recruit a Management Accountant. You will support financial reporting, provide insight for decision-making and join during a period of growth.

Qualifications

• CIMA, ACCA or ACA studier, qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Previous management accounting experience.
• Strong Excel and systems skills.
• Proactive, organised and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and related reporting.
• Carry out balance sheet reconciliations and month-end reporting.
• Assist cashflow forecasting and VAT returns.
• Support board and stakeholder reporting.
• Handle payroll journals and expense reconciliations.

Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a growing private equity-backed organisation on the Wirral to recruit a Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to join a business during an exciting period of growth.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll support the delivery of accurate financial reporting and provide key insight to support business decision-making.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end reporting
• Cashflow forecasting and VAT returns
• Board and stakeholder reporting
• Payroll journals and expense reconciliations
• Audit support, budgeting and forecasting activities

About You

• CIMA, ACCA or ACA studier, qualified, or qualified by experience
• Previous management accounting experience
• Strong Excel and systems skills
• Proactive, organised and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
