Telent Technology Services Ltd is looking for a Management Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Warwick. The role is hybrid, requiring 1-2 days in the Warwick HQ weekly, reporting to the Head of Finance.

You will deliver clear forecasts, insights, and support to drive business decisions using ERP systems like Oracle or SAP. Ideal candidates will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualified with strong Excel skills and proven experience in business-facing finance roles, preparing detailed

Responsabilités

• Provide clear analysis and reporting of actuals and forecasts for the assigned project or function.
• Assist senior finance to drive actions to meet forecasts.
• Collaborate with finance teams to enable informed business decisions.
• Develop forecasts for the business area and report progress on cash, P&L and balance sheet.
• Prepare historic analyses by project and cost centre (month-end reporting, KPI review).
• Lead and develop direct reports where applicable.
• Support contract reviews and financial reporting with operations.

Reporting into the Head of Finance, the Management Accountant will work closely with the business and senior finance community to assist with the development of financial forecasts across our Infrastructure Services business unit.

This is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to be in the Warwick HQ 1-2 days per week. This role is offered on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract basis.

What you’ll do:

• Ensuring clear and concise analysis and reporting of the results for the responsible project, projects or central functions (actual and forecast).
• Assisting senior finance team to drive actions to ensure forecasts are achieved
• Working in collaboration with the senior finance team/project manager and/or central function, providing clear and concise analysis as required to enable the business to make effective decisions
• Assist with the development of forecasts for the business area, measure & report on progress (across cash, P&L and balance sheet)
• Preparation of accurate and meaningful historic analysis by project and cost centre (month end results, KPI’s, comparison of actuals to forecasts/budget across Cash, P&L and BS)
• Management of any direct reports
• Ensure contract reviews conducted for projects within your responsibility - working with the operations team to ensure contracts accurately reported, assisting with the scrutinising of financial results and challenging the business

Who you are:

You bring proven accounting experience from working in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Highly organised and detail-driven, you thrive under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.

Key Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA part qualified
• Previous experience of working in a business facing finance role
• Good communication skills
• Use of Oracle, SAP or other large ERP system
• Good working knowledge of Excel
