St John Ambulance is seeking a Management Accountant to join the Financial Reporting Team. You will support the delivery of high-quality statutory and management accounting services, preparing and reviewing accruals, prepayments, income recognition and reconciliations.
You will work with the Lead Management Accountant and Finance Business Partners to prepare budgets and forecasts, providing clear financial commentary and insights.

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our Financial Reporting Team to support the delivery of high-quality statutory and management accounting services. Working closely with the Lead Management Accountant and wider finance team, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing accruals, prepayments, income recognition, indirect cost allocations and ledger reconciliations , identifying and correcting errors, and contributing to the timely production of accurate management accounts.
You will also support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts , working collaboratively with Finance Business Partners and other stakeholders. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and provide clear, accurate financial commentary.
