Management Accountant - Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Tyne and Wear, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Our Business Support teams deliver vital services to ensure the continued success of our business divisions. These include HR, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, Legal and Commercial, Estates and Facilities, Core Technology, Corporate Security, IT, and Fleet. This role involves working closely with business and senior finance stakeholders to support financial forecasting, delivering timely and accurate reporting, and providing analysis to support decision-making. The position is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with senior finance team to analyze and enable effective decision-making.
• Assist in developing financial forecasts and report on progress across cash, P&L, and balance sheet.
• Prepare historic analysis by project, including month-end results and KPIs.
• Manage 2 direct reports.
• Conduct area reviews for projects, working with operations to ensure accurate reporting and financial scrutiny.

Who you are:

A detail-oriented, organized, customer-focused individual.

Key Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA part-qualified.
• Experience in a business-facing finance role.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP systems like Oracle or SAP.
