Job summary

TPN Group in the UK is seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will manage monthly management accounts, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow and daily financial controls across the Group.

Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and regulatory compliance (VAT, UK GAAP). You will support audits and provide board and investor reporting with KPI packs.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience.
• Proficient in Sage and advanced Excel; strong financial modelling skills.
• Experience with Xero and Zoho is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly management accounts, variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow and daily controls.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes and chart of accounts upkeep.
• Prepare KPI packs for board and investors; support audits and improvements.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning.
• Ensure VAT, HMRC, and UK GAAP compliance and regulatory reporting.

We are currently seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join TPN group on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role plays a key part in ensuring the continued effective management of the organisation's financial operations. Working in a small team, you will take ownership of the monthly management accounts process, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow management and day-to-day financial controls across the Group., Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and financial reporting in line with group deadlines Take ownership on month-end and year-end close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining the chart of accounts. Collaboration with Senior Leadership to shape decision-making. Maintain day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll support, and supplier payments. Lead budgeting, forecasting, active cash flow forecasting and management, and financial planning activities. Ensure compliance with VAT, HMRC, UK GAAP, and all statutory and regulatory requirements. Maintain finance procedures, controls, and documentation, while supporting audits and process improvements. Board and investor reporting, including monthly KPI packs.

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a finance role, ideally within the healthcare or private sector. Proficient in Sage and advanced Excel, with hands-on experience building financial models, budgets and forecasts Experience with Xero and Zoho is desirable. Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of UK financial regulations. Experience in financial planning, analysis, and management reporting.
