Job summary

Qualifications

Description

This is a newly created role within a Not for Profit organisation based in the Cardiff area.

The Management Accountant will play a key role in the Financial Management and Monthly Reporting for this organisation.

The role will include;

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Provide accurate financial analysis to support organisational planning.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
• Support the year-end audit process by preparing necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with department heads to manage cost control and financial performance.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Contribute to process improvements within the finance function.

Profile

A successful Interim Management Accountant should have:

• A strong background in accounting and financial management, preferably in the not-for-profit sector.
• Qualified Accountant or QBE with relevant skills and experience.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Confidence using accounting software and Excel.

Job Offer

• Salary c£46,000 - £50,000.
