Sewell Wallis is excited to be representing this company on a truly career-changing opportunity, working for a giant in the Property sector as a Management Accountant! Based in Stockport, Greater Manchester, with easy access from surrounding areas.

What will you be doing?

• Owning the module setup, ensuring all CAPEX is correctly coded
• Managing transactional uploads
• Collaborating with external cost consultants to report actuals against budget monthly
• Recognising cost accruals as part of the month-end reporting cycle
• Preparing CAPEX numbers for monthly CAPEX/earn-out drawdowns and providing insightful variance analysis to the Treasury team
• Handling tax and reporting obligations
• Monthly actualisation of portfolio CAPEX and creating insightful output reports
• Producing financial reports for the development team regarding land under options and organising receipts for costs incurred
• Providing necessary information to valuers concerning investment properties identified as land or under construction
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly and management accounts
• Handling ad hoc queries

What skills will you need?

• Qualified in ACCA/ACA/CIMA
• Experience as a Management Accountant in the property sector
• Ambitious with initiative and drive
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with Power BI is preferred
