Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Manchester
Salary: £40,000 - £45,00 per annum

Are you a qualified or part-qualified accountant looking for your next step within a values-led, growing environment? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join a dedicated finance team based in central Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful public initiatives while gaining valuable exposure across financial planning, management reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

What You'll Be Doing:
• Delivering high-quality management accounting and financial reporting services across the organisation
• Acting as a finance business partner to key departments, providing insights and specialist advice
• Preparing detailed budget reports, forecasts, and variance analyses
• Developing and improving financial processes, systems, and reporting mechanisms
• Supporting budget holders with financial planning and cost control
• Ensuring compliance with public sector financial policies and procedures
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains
• Contributing to the preparation of year-end accounts and audit processes
• Communicating complex financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders

What We're Looking For:
• Fully or part-qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA / CIPFA)
• Demonstrable experience in management accounting
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Familiarity with public sector finance and relevant regulations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proactive, well-organised, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail with strong analytical skills
