Qualifications

Placing Transactional & Part Qualified Accountants into Consumer & Media Brands

Management Accountant | International Media Agency | London | Hybrid working

JasperRose are currently partnering with Group M, the world’s leading media investment company and the parent company of well-known agencies like Mindshare, Wavemaker, and EssenceMediaCom to recruit a Management Accountant. This role will be based in their London Bridge Head Office (hybrid working) and will report into the Financial Controller.

You will take ownership for one business area, taking responsibility for the month-end, management accounts as well as partnering with key stakeholders across the business and driving process improvement.

Duties in this role:

• Perform month-end and year-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and reconciliations
• Conduct monthly variance analysis against budget/forecast for costs and revenue
• Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in the P&L and balance sheet
• Business partner with key stakeholders across the business
• Support SOX compliance and year-end audit processes

Requirements:

• Part qualified accountant studying towards ACA /ACCA/ CIMA
• Experience of working within the Media sector is strongly preferred
• Experience managing revenue accounting is essential
• Must have experience in month end
• Experience working for a larger more complex business
• SOX compliance experience is desirable
• Advanced excel skills across sumIFs, Pivot tables and VLOOKUPS
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
• Great communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and support operational teams with insights.
