Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this full-time, office-based role at Canary Wharf offers a balanced work culture with a typical 9-5:30 schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts from books of prime entry
• Prepare accounting journals
• Handle intercompany reconciliations
• Assist with year-end audits
• Prepare bank covenant reports
• Manage VAT return preparations
• Proactively resolve queries
• Support the existing Finance team

Qualifications & Skills

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant; experienced candidates with relevant property background may be considered
• Experience in a similar accounting role within the property sector
• Strong time management skills
• Knowledge of VAT treatment in property
• Experience with service charge accounting
• Proficient in IT, especially Excel (Advanced)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Punctuality and efficiency
