This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful SME where you will work closely with senior management and provide accurate financial information to support business decisions.

The role would suit an AAT qualified or part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA) accountant who enjoys working in a collaborative, office-based environment and is looking for a varied

Qualifications

• AAT qualified or studying towards CIMA/ACCA.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to work with financial data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts including accruals, prepayments and variance analysis.
• Produce budgets, forecasts and cash flow reports to support business planning.
• Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Review financial performance and provide commercial insight to management.
• Work with operational teams and senior stakeholders on financial matters.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful SME where you will work closely with senior management and play a key role in providing accurate financial information to support business decisions. The role would suit an AAT qualified or part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA) accountant who enjoys working within a collaborative, office-based environment and is looking for a varied position with genuine long-term prospects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments and variance analysis.
• Produce budgets, forecasts and cash flow reports to support business planning.
• Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Review financial performance and provide commercial insight to management.
• Work closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders on financial and business-related matters.

Requirements

• AAT qualified or studying towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA).
• Previous experience within a Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant or similar finance role.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data and reporting.
• Commercially minded with the ability to communicate effectively across the business.
• Comfortable working within an office-based environment and building relationships with internal stakeholders.
