Prestige Talent Partners Ltd is working with a thriving accountancy practice in the North West, recruiting a Management Accountant. You will manage a portfolio of 4-7 clients, producing customised management accounts, KPI dashboards and insightful variance analysis.

The role is based at Holcombe Brook, Bury, with on-site client meetings, VAT handling and forecasting duties. Excellent benefits and a supportive team await.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a similar management accounting role.
• 5+ years experience in management accounts and client liaison.
• Experience with Sage 50 and Xero is essential.

Responsibilities

• Produce customised management accounts for each client.
• Lead monthly/quarterly client meetings and present results.
• Deliver KPI dashboards and variance analysis for clients.
• Maintain cashflow forecasts and budgets for client portfolios.
• Support VAT returns and forecasting work with accuracy.
• Engage in forecasting and commercial insight delivery.
• Collaborate with Bookkeepers and manage on-site meetings.

Our client is a thriving accountancy practice. They focus on providing high level Fractional Finance Controllers, Finance Directors, Management Accountants, Bookkeepers, Payroll Officers and Credit Controllers. Servicing small to medium-sized companies in the North West. As they continue to grow, they're on the lookout for a dynamic, self-motivated individuals who strive for perfection to join their super friendly team based in Holcombe Brook, Bury.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Producing customised management accounts for each client


• Focus on Commercial Accounting & Business Intelligence


• Reconciling balance sheet accounts


• Analysing gross profitability by project, product, or revenue stream


• Deliver clear variance analysis and performance commentary


• Lead monthly/quarterly client meetings


• Deliver KPI dashboards to each client


• Maintain cashflow forecasts and budgets


• Provide commercial insights


• Handling VAT returns with precision


• Engaging in forecasting work


• Managing cashflow tasks


• Supporting our fantastic Bookkeepers

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven track record in a similar position with relevant qualifications


• 5 years + experience


• Strong Management Accounts preparation experience


• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to meet clients on-site


• Experience with Sage 50 and Xero (must-have!)


• Full competency with Outlook & Excel


• Confidence presenting financial information to clients


• Experience working in an accountancy practice is a plus


• A friendly, grounded, and trustworthy individual
