Job summary

Jane Gorse Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Management Accountant for Ramsbottom, Bury. You will own a client portfolio, produce tailored management accounts, and provide insightful reporting with a mix of office, home, and client-site work.

You'll bring AAT qualification or be studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA, strong Sage 50 and Xero, and be confident with Excel and client communication. This role offers autonomy, variety, and a genuine commercial impact.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 4-7 clients.
• Produce insightful, tailored management accounts.
• Balance sheet reconciliations & reporting.
• Analyze profitability across projects, products & revenue streams.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Support forecasting and forward planning.
• Cashflow forecasting to give clients financial visibility.
