JANE GORSE RECRUITMENT LIMITED in Ramsbottom, Bury, is seeking a Management Accountant to own a client portfolio and deliver insightful management accounts. You'll balance sheet reconciliations, forecast cashflow, VAT returns, and provide forward planning support across projects and products.

The role is hybrid, permanent, with a clear path to ownership and impact within client engagements. Ideal candidates will be AAT/ACCA/CIMA aware, with Sage 50 and Xero experience, strong Excel skills, and a

What you ll be getting stuck into

• Managing a portfolio of 4 7 clients
• Producing insightful, tailored management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations & clean, accurate reporting
• Analysing profitability across projects, products & revenue streams
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Supporting forecasting and forward planning
• Cashflow forecasting to give clients real financial visibility

What you ll bring

• AAT qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA studying or qualified = a bonus)
• Experience in a similar role (practice or industry)
• Strong Sage 50 & Xero knowledge
• Confident with Excel and client communication
• Solid experience across management accounts, VAT, reconciliations & forecasting
