Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced Management Accountant on an interim basis in the United Kingdom to support monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and balance sheet reconciliations. The role involves partnering with stakeholders across the business to analyse financial performance and ensure timely, accurate reporting during a busy period.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent communication skills, and immediate availability.

Responsibilities

• Production of monthly management accounts and supporting financial reports.
• Preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and review of month-end processes.
• Analysis of financial performance, identifying key trends and risks.
• Business partnering with budget holders and operational stakeholders.
• Assisting with cash flow forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Supporting year-end audit preparation and providing required documentation.
• Maintaining financial controls and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
• Investigating and resolving accounting discrepancies and queries.
• Providing ad hoc financial analysis and support to the finance leadership team.

Job Offer
