Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced Management Accountant for an interim assignment in Hailsham. You will produce monthly management accounts, support budgets and forecasts, and perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate reporting during a busy period.

You will partner with stakeholders across the business, analyse financial performance and help drive financial planning, cash flow forecasting, and preparation for year-end activities.

Qualifications

• Strong background in accounting and finance.

• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts and supporting financial reports.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and month-end review.
• Conduct financial performance analysis, identifying trends and risks.
• Partner with budget holders and operational stakeholders.
• Assist cash flow forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Support year-end audit preparation and provide documentation.
• Maintain financial controls and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and queries.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support to finance leadership.
