Job summary

Recruiit is seeking a qualified management accountant to join a successful mid-size business in the East Midlands. You will tell the story behind the numbers by providing insightful monthly management accounts, budgeting and KPI reports.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA with strong management accounting experience.
• Experience in monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analyses, and KPI reports.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and update rolling forecasts.
• Partner with stakeholders to support growth and profitability.
• Monitor product margins, operating expenditures, and capex performance.
• Standardise financial reporting tools and automate workflows.
• Monitor daily cash positions and forecast working capital needs.

Job description

This is an excellent management accounting role working within a successful mid-size business. The ideal candidate will be Qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) and have strong management accounting experience, and looking to join a supportive working environment. You will look beyond the numbers and tell the story of business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analyses, and key performance indicator (KPI) reports.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and update rolling quarterly financial forecasts.
• Business Partnering: Working closely with stakeholders across the business to support growth and profitability.
• Cost Analysis: Monitor product margins, operational expenditures, and capital investment performance.
• Process Improvement: Standardise financial reporting tools and automate routine accounting workflows.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily cash positions and forecast future working capital requirements.
