Management Accountant

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are partnering with a leading business based in Doncaster. They are looking to expand their finance team by adding a Management Accountant. This role is suitable for an ACCA/CIMA Part-Qualified Accountant or a Newly Qualified Accountant.

We seek a dynamic, progressive, hands-on, confident, and capable individual who wants to take ownership of their role and add value to a small team within a large, well-established corporation.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage head office management accounts, including control of overheads, budgets, and forecasts.
  2. Prepare monthly reports and conduct meetings to update on actual spend, aiding management decisions.
  3. Assist with month-end close processes, including consolidation of management accounts.
  4. Generate regular financial reports such as monthly board reports, land commitments, creditor information, and weekly sales data.
  5. Support the preparation of audit packs and respond to audit queries.
  6. Verify regional financial reconciliations to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  7. Prepare VAT returns for review by the tax accountant.
  8. Produce monthly financial reports.
  9. Perform additional tasks as assigned by FP&A.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in a large corporate environment with regional/divisional structure.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
