Job summary

ICAEW in the United Kingdom is seeking a Management Accountant to own monthly financial reporting, production of management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and business performance analysis in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment where finance informs growth.

You will partner with senior finance leaders and operational stakeholders, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, driving process improvements and providing insights to enhance revenue and profitability.

Your new role

As Management Accountant, you'll take ownership of monthly financial reporting, management accounts production, balance sheet reconciliations and business performance analysis. Working closely with senior finance leaders and operational stakeholders, you'll provide meaningful insight that helps drive revenue growth, profitability and informed decision-making.

This is far more than a traditional month-end role. You'll be partnering with key stakeholders across the business, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, identifying financial risks and opportunities, and helping improve reporting processes as the organisation continues to grow.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and controls
• Commercial analysis and performance reporting

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful, you'll have previous experience in a Management Accountant position with strong month-end and balance sheet expertise.You'll ideally be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving commercial environment.
