NP Aerospace is a global leader in advanced armour systems, working at the forefront of defence innovation. As part of our growing Finance team, you'll deliver accurate financial insights, drive process improvements, and partner across our business, especially within our Armour division.

You will lead on monthly management accounts, costing, and cash flow, while helping to streamline financial controls and evolve finance into a more strategic partner. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller and working closely with the Finance Director, there is scope to influence, develop, and grow.

Ideal candidates will be:

• Part- or fully-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
• Confident with Excel, balancing detail with big-picture insight
• Passionate about improving finance processes
• Comfortable with monthly accounts, audits, and business partnering
• Positive, proactive, and able to work with both technical and non-finance colleagues

Key responsibilities include:

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Deliver monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and group reporting
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and manage accruals
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
• Monitor cash flow and foreign exchange impacts

Costing & Inventory

• Maintain standard and current costs for all item types
• Ensure robust controls and reporting across inventory

Compliance & Audit

• Support internal and external audit processes
• Prepare sales tax calculations for the UK and Canada
• Deliver statutory reporting on time

Business Partnering & Transformation

• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations for decision-making
• Drive improvements in financial systems and reporting
• Contribute to developing finance into a strategic function

This role is based in Coventry with occasional travel within the UK and internationally.
