Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited, based in Norwich, is seeking a confident Management Accountant to join a well-regarded finance team. The role suits someone with breadth of knowledge and proven experience in management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, and business planning.

As the main financial partner for key stakeholders, you will prepare monthly management accounts, assist with statutory accounts, and help develop forward projections and five-year plans.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or qualified accountant, QBE considered.
• Experience in preparing management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and business planning.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted finance business partner to budget holders.
• Assist management to forecast future income and costs; highlight necessary decisions.
• Meet monthly with Group Leaders to review financial position.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed, accurate information.
• Prepare statutory accounts.
• Develop forward projections, annual budgets and forecasts; contribute to 5-year plans and reserves analysis.

Job description

A key appointment within the finance team at this well renowned organisation based in Norwich. A varied role that will suit an individualwith a breadth of knowledge and proven experience as a Management Accountant.

This is a newly created position, you will bemain source of financial support for the key stakeholders, preparing and interpret the regular financial information which is presentedacross the organisation.

Key responsibilitiesinclude;

Financial Support forBudget holders

• Act as a trusted finance business partner
• Assist Management to manage their financial resources by proactively forecasting future income and costs, highlighting where decisions may be necessary.
• Meet face to face with all Group Leaders each month to review their financial position

Financial Reporting

• Preparation of monthly management accounts with detailed and accurate financial information and interpretation.
• Preparation of Statutory Accounts

Budgetary control

• Preparation of forward projections, annual budgets and forecasts
• Preparation of 5 year business plans and reserves analysis

The candidate:

The successful candidate will be the main contact for key stakeholders therefore we are seeking a confident part-qualified or qualified accountant, QBE also considered, who can demonstrate their ability to build internal relationships. Experience will include experience in preparing management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
