Job summary

Dexters Recruitment in Lowestoft is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our finance team. You will manage month-end processes, prepare management accounts and budgets, and provide timely financial reporting to support business decisions.

The role requires strong management accounting and reporting skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines. Xero experience is preferred, with full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Complete month-end processes and prepare monthly Management Accounts.
• Prepare budgets and monitor/report on variances.
• Produce weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
• Complete weekly bank reconciliations and liaise with the bank.
• Prepare quarterly Group VAT information for external accountants and process payments.
• Raise sales invoices and manage credit control.
• Process and pay supplier invoices.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor financial performance against targets and recommend actions.
• Assist with recruitment, management and development of the finance team.
• Identify and implement improvements to finance processes and procedures.

Management Accountant

• Hours: Monday Thursday 8:00am 5:00pm, Friday: 8:00am 4:00pm
• Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
• Location: Lowestoft

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Management Accountant to join our growing finance team and play a key role in the continued development of the department.

The successful candidate will have strong management accounting and reporting skills, with the ability to work independently, meet deadlines and provide accurate financial information to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete month-end processes and prepare monthly Management Accounts.
• Prepare budgets and monitor/report on variances.
