Job summary

Goodman Masson is recruiting a part-qualified Management Accountant for an established housing organisation in London. The role is hybrid, with two days a week in the London office and an initial 3‑month contract, with a view to going permanent for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will prepare management accounts, perform month-end processes, and support a junior colleague while engaging with stakeholders to improve reporting and controls.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified accountant actively studying towards ACA, ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience preparing management accounts and supporting month-end processes.
• Good understanding of journals, reconciliations and financial controls.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial systems.
• Ability to review work and support the development of a junior colleague.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

An established housing organisation is looking to recruit a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone actively studying towards an accountancy qualification who has hands-on management accounting experience and enjoys working in a varied, operational role.
