Job summary

Heap & Co is looking for a Management Accountant in Cambridge to join during an exciting growth phase. You will work closely with senior leadership, delivering essential financial insight and supporting business decisions in a fast-paced environment.

You will gain broad exposure across management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and process improvement, with a hybrid working model (3 days in the office).

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification required.
• Previous experience in accounting, finance or audit beneficial.
• Strong Excel and analytical abilities are essential.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Well organised with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Financial modelling and business performance reporting.
• Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments.

An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join one of the most exciting and innovative companies Cambridge has seen in recent years, during a key phase of its development.

This role offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership, providing meaningful financial insight and supporting business decision-making in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will gain broad exposure across management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Financial modelling and business performance reporting

• Identifying and implementing process improvements across finance

About You

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
