Job summary

Artemis Human Capital in Belfast is seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join a well-established international professional services business. You will support UK operations with monthly management accounts and financial analysis.

The role offers hybrid working (2 days from home), a generous salary up to £55K, and a comprehensive benefits package including pension, private medical insurance and income protection.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification.
• 1-2 years' post-qualification experience in professional services.
• Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts including P&L and balance sheet reporting.
• Post journals, reconcile balance sheets and investigate variances.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Maintain robust financial controls and assist audits and year-end activities.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and management information.
• Partner with finance colleagues and non-finance stakeholders to deliver meaningful insights.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to join a collaborative finance team, supporting UK operations and contributing to high-quality financial reporting, analysis and business performance.

The Role:

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet reporting.
• Posting journals, completing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Maintaining strong financial controls and supporting audit and year-end activities.
• Identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and management information.
• Partnering with finance colleagues and non-finance stakeholders to deliver meaningful insights.

The Person:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified.
• 1-2 years' post-qualification experience within professional services or a similar environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
