PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Pre-Sales Consultant works within the managed services team and is the subject matter expert for HSO’s managed services. The individual will use their understanding of business needs in a managed service environment to support account managers with the positioning and sale of solutions and services in order to achieve customer value goals along with HSO revenue goals. The role demands an understanding of Microsoft technologies and extensive knowledge of working in a managed service environment. The successful candidate will have experience in creation and completion of extensive cost models and support contracts.

You will be joining a mature business unit with exciting ambitions and you will be part of the team that leads on a drive to grow the HSO managed service business through pre-sales efforts across all of our service lines. This role will have input on how we create better cost models, service offerings, efficiencies in the pre-sales process and be a driving force behind putting the customer at the centre of everything that we do.
REPORTING LINE
As part of the MS Service Delivery and Pre-Sales team, the Pre-Sales Consultant reports to the head of MS Service Delivery and Pre-Sales alongside the MS pre-sales team as well as the wider HS Sales Executives and Account Managers.

Location
The HSO offices are in Manchester, Glasgow, and Reading but the individual can be based anywhere on mainland UK – and must be prepared to travel to client sites and to the relevant offices for client meetings and training when required.
