Job summary

HSO in the United Kingdom is seeking a Managed Service Optimisation Delivery Manager to lead optimization initiatives within our Managed Services customer base. You will collaborate with customer teams, consultants, PMO, and stakeholders to plan, resource, and deliver improvements to a high standard, on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience managing customer-facing delivery activity in managed services or change delivery environments.
• Strong planning, coordination, and organisational skills.
• Good commercial awareness, including budget tracking, utilisation, profitability, invoicing.
• Experience using Microsoft DevOps or similar work management tools.
• Ability to work with consultants, PMO, customer teams, senior stakeholders, and customers to drive clear actions and successful delivery outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer interaction.
• ITIL awareness or certification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for assigned optimisation projects.
• Ensure customers receive clear communication, accurate updates, and high-quality delivery outcomes.
• Build, manage, and deliver customer optimisation backlogs.
• Complete small, medium, and larger enhancements on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard.
• Monitor utilisation, profitability, invoicing, project budgets, and risks.
• Produce and maintain resourcing plans to support upcoming work.
• Use DevOps and other systems to capture tasks, updates, KPIs, and delivery data.
• Identify risks and ensure compliant delivery and governance.
• Support change activity and ensure approvals through CAB where required.
• Drive continuous improvement of delivery processes and tooling.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and quality standards.
