Job summary

HSO is a global Microsoft solutions partner delivering high-impact cloud and application solutions. The Managed Services Optimisation Delivery Manager will lead optimisation work for our MS cloud customers, building backlogs, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring on-time delivery within budget.

You will work with customer teams, PMO and internal stakeholders to drive action, forecast workloads, and monitor profitability while maintaining strong vendor and client communications.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering customer-facing optimisation and change delivery in managed services or similar environments.
• Strong planning, coordination and organisational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Good commercial awareness including budget tracking, invoicing, and risk management.
• Experience using Microsoft DevOps or similar tools for tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key contact for assigned optimisation projects and outcomes.
• Build, manage and deliver customer optimisation backlogs to agreed timelines and budgets.
• Monitor utilisation, profitability, and potential overruns with governance.
• Provide accurate forecasting of upcoming work and revenue recognition.
• Develop and maintain resource plans to support work in a cost-effective way.
• Ensure production releases progress through CAB where required and align with DevOps improvements.
• Deliver clear, accurate reporting for customers, colleagues, and senior management.
