Keys Group in Pontardawe, Swansea is seeking a Male Support Worker to join a care home supporting seven gentlemen with brain injury, autism and learning disability. You will be involved in day-to-day support, promoting independence and assisting with personal care and health appointments.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence with access to a vehicle. We offer DBS paid, opportunities for qualifications and a generous benefits package including pension and staff discounts.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining health care needs, including accompanying appointments or administering medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
• Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
