Job summary

Avenues Group in Chertsey is hiring a Male Support Worker to join our team supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, dementia and challenging behaviours. No prior social care experience is required as full training is provided.

We offer full-time hours (39 per week), a guaranteed wage of £25,845 per year and a range of benefits including enhanced DBS, pension, diverse training, and flexible working patterns. A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle are required for this role.

We're searching for Support Workers to join our team in Chertsey, working with adults who have learning disabilities, autism, dementia and behaviours that challenge. Our services include supported living homes, self-contained flats and community-based outreach - so there's plenty of variety.

Typical shift tasks

• Helping the people we support get out and about in their community and beyond.
• Supporting them with social activities and staying connected with family and friends.
• Lending a hand with managing their finances.
• Keeping their home clean and tidy, plus doing the shopping.
• Providing and encouraging personal care.
• And most importantly, enjoying what you do!
