Job summary

The Avenues Trust Group in Chertsey is seeking Male Support Workers to assist adults with learning disabilities, autism, dementia and behaviours that challenge. No prior social care experience is required as full training is provided, including a Health and Social Care Diploma to support your career.

You'll join a team delivering care across supported living, self-contained flats and community outreach. The role includes community activities, finance assistance, home care, and personal support,

Qualifications

• Role involves supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, dementia and challenging behaviours.
• No prior social care experience required; full training provided.
• Must have a full UK driving licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Help people get out and about in the community and beyond.
• Support social activities and help maintain contact with family and friends.
• Assist with managing finances and keeping the home clean and tidy.
• Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks.
• Approach the role with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.

We're searching for Support Workers to join our team in Chertsey, working with adults who have learning disabilities, autism, dementia and behaviours that challenge. Our services include supported living homes, self-contained flats and community-based outreach – so there's plenty of variety.

Every day is different, but here's what a typical shift might look like:

• Helping the people we support get out and about in their community and beyond.
• Supporting them with social activities and staying connected with family and friends.
• Lending a hand with managing their finances.
• Keeping their home clean and tidy, plus doing the shopping.
• Providing and encouraging personal care.
• And most importantly, enjoying what you do!
