Zusammenfassung

RIG Healthcare are recruiting three experienced Male Residential Support Workers for a well-established Ofsted-registered children's home in Waltham Abbey, Essex. You will provide day-to-day care and emotional support to young people with learning disabilities and autism, acting as a positive male role model.

The role is full-time and permanent with a rota including days, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins. Offered rate is £13.50 per hour plus £60 per sleep-in, with ongoing training and DBS

Qualifikationen

• At least 12 months' experience in an Ofsted-registered children's residential home.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, or willingness to complete it.
• Experience with de-escalation and positive behaviour support (PMVA, MAPA or Team Teach an advantage).
• The right to work in the UK. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship.
• Willingness to work a flexible rota including sleep-ins.
• A full UK driving licence is highly desirable.

Aufgaben

• Provide day-to-day care, guidance and emotional support to young people, building routine and independence.
• Act as a positive male role model using de-escalation and relationship-based approaches.
• Support personal care, health needs and medication per care plans.
• Keep young people safe by following safeguarding procedures and risk assessments.
• Support education, health appointments, activities and family contact.
• Keep accurate daily logs and incident reports to Ofsted standards.
• Collaborate with the Registered Manager, social workers, schools and other professionals.
