Disability North is seeking a Male Personal Care Assistant to join a team dedicated to supporting a neurodivergent, non-verbal young man. The role involves 1:1 and 2:1 shifts, with a mix of day and night work across home and community settings in Gosforth.

Shifts include waking nights; driving to community activities is required. Salary is £33,235 per year (£17.00 per hour). Full-time permanent contract.

Formación

• Providing support with personal care, daily living tasks and safety in the home environment.
• Driving the client to community activities with a clean, full driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care and daily living support.
• Assist with meals and feeding as required.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor health needs.
• Ensure client safety at all times and engage him in activities.
• Drive client to leisure activities and appointments using the family car.
