Job summary

Lifeways in Walsall is seeking Male Support Workers to help adults with learning disabilities and autism lead happy, independent lives.

You'll be trained from day one and join a supportive team dedicated to building confidence, independence and meaningful community involvement. The role offers full-time hours, a variety of shifts across mornings, afternoons and waking nights where required, with ongoing development opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Support Worker, you'll work alongside individuals to help them live the life they choose. Your role may include:

• Supporting people with daily living tasks


• Encouraging independence and building confidence


• Helping people take part in hobbies, activities and community events


• Providing companionship and emotional support


• Assisting with personal care where required


• Supporting people with moving and handling needs (full training provided)

No two days are the same, making this a varied and rewarding role where your support can have a lasting impact.

Contract and Shift Information

Full-time - 37.5 hours per week

Our services operate seven days a week and include a variety of shift patterns:

• 7:00am to 2:30pm


• 2:30pm to 10: 0pm


• Waking nights


• Alternate weekends
