Job summary

Birmingham Children's Hospital is seeking a Major Trauma Co-Ordinator (Paediatric) to join the Major Trauma team. You will coordinate pathways, lead rehabilitation planning and work within a multidisciplinary group to deliver high-quality care for children and young people.

The post supports clinical leadership and service improvement within a national trauma network. The role requires HCPC or NMC registration, post-graduate experience in major trauma and rehabilitation, and a flexible approach

Qualifications

• HCPC or NMC registration.
• Post-graduate course and CPD in relevant field.
• Experience in neurosciences, major trauma and rehabilitation.
• Leadership experience.
• Audit and service evaluation experience.
• Ability to coordinate care with multiple providers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Major Trauma Pathway and monitor centre standards of care.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to streamline patient journeys.
• Maintain clinical expertise while delivering complex rehabilitation programmes.
• Work flexibly to meet service needs across sites.
